Everyone must drink water to live on Terrinor. Your level of thirst can be checked by using the "info" command. You will be able to see your thirst level in descriptive terms like "slightly thirsty." Before you even think of adventuring outside any city, your first consideration should be to check your supply of water. Since most races can only drink fresh water, as opposed to salt water, it is advisable to take a sip of any natural water sources before drinking a full draught. This will also help ensure that the water source is untainted with poisons and other foul ingredients. But beware, you can DIE from excessive thirst in Terrinor so plan ahead before you travel the vast wilderness. Once in the wilderness you can drink from any body of water.
